New Jersey - entire state
Eastern Pennsylvania
Can BIOClean D+D kill Corona Virus?
YES! Our Smart Touch Disinfectant is on the EPA’s N-List, and the Curis™ System H202 Disinfectant Curoxide is on harder to prove K-List. The EPA’s N-List is a list of approved Disinfectants for Use Against Log-3 Reduction of non-enveloped viruses, including SARS-CoV-2. The EPA’s K-List is a list of approved disinfectants than can achieve much higher 6-Log Reduction.
What is the difference between On Demand service and Maintenance Plans?
On Demand service is a one-time service for those who are responding to an immediate risk. Examples would be homes or offices that had someone recently diagnosed with Covid-19, athletic facilities that had members infected with MRSA, or immune-compromised people in temporary need of a germ-free space.
Our Maintenance plans offer treatments on a regular basis to mitigate the risk for longer period. Just like brushing your teeth helps keep cavities at bay, so does a regular disinfection of your whole space minimize the risk of transmission of disease-causing pathogens within your premises.
How frequently should I use your service?
The higher traffic areas call for higher frequency of treatments. Ultimately this will depend on your budget and goals. Some businesses opt for weekly or bi-weekly treatments, while others, including most homes, choose monthly or quarterly service.
What is the difference between cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting and sterilizing?
Cleaning is the removal of debris such as organic and inorganic material from objects and surfaces.
Sanitizing is reduction of microorganisms on a surface, where some of the bioburden gets destroyed.
Disinfecting will kill most of the microorganisms on a surface, including viruses, bacteria, fungi and fungal spores.
Sterilizing is the killing or removal of ALL microorganisms, including bacterial spores, which are highly resistant.
We use technologies that reach the highest level of disinfection that currently exists in the market for commercial use. Our CURIS system is EPA certified to kill bacterial spores, also known as ‘superbugs’ for being extremely hard to kill.
What type of technology would you recommend for my space?
That mostly depends on what kind of space you want to treat. The best way to answer this question is to do a pre-site visit and evaluation. Many of our residential and commercial customers use electrostatic spraying technology, which has the lower cost, while Ultra Low Volume Misting is more common in high to medium risk establishments, such as hospital environments, doctor’s offices, and school systems. UV Light is recommended to someone who is particularly sensitive to all other disinfection methods, and in locations where other methods are difficult to apply. To determine which method is suitable for your space, it is best to talk with one of our specialists. We will ensure that you receive the most thorough treatment possible for your needs.
Are your products food safe?
Our products do not require a ‘rinse’ phase. Most products we work with are NSF-approved and certified, meaning they are safe to use on various types of food contact surfaces.
Is fogging or electrostatic disinfection a replacement for in home cleaning and janitorial services?
NO. Our services are not a replacement for in home cleaning or janitorial services. All fogging disinfection and decontamination services are designed to be used in a clean space. BIOClean D+D services are not a replacement for daily maintenance. The higher the bioburden in a space the harder it will be to penetrate layers of dirt and grime to reach the surface. Even though our systems are proven to penetrate deep layers of biogrime, it is always best to start with a clean surface.
Can I leave electronics in the room or home? Sensitive materials and fabrics?
YES! Our systems are designed to be used in spaces with sensitive electronics, monitors, phone systems, materials and fabrics. The CURIS dry fogging and other technologies do not create a wet effect. They are safe around paper, linen and most other materials. Our system and solutions have been tested extensively (and are subjected to continual testing) for material compatibility. However, if there are MRI devices or any other sophisticated equipment you are concerned with treating, then consult manufacturer before use.
What is Smart Touch Disinfectant?
This is the solution that we use with our electrostatic spraying technology. Formally listed by the EPA as VitalOxide, this product has been rated as a Category 4 (the safest rating the EPA has), which states “no exposure warnings required on label”. Regardless, it achieves a 5-log kill of 99.999% in less than 60 seconds for bacteria like eColi, Salmonella and Listeria.
Why not just use a quaternary ammoniums and bleaches?
There is a huge array of ‘Quant’ products on the market. They are effective but come with many risks. Compared to our environmentally friendly products that reduce to water and evaporate, Quants can be misused:
Applied incorrectly
Might require rinsing
May result in corrosion due to high concentrations
Can be toxic, can leave behind residue and/or odors
Can be deadly if mixed
Have been known to contribute ro resistant strains of pathogens.
How much does yor service cost?
Costs depend on the size of the job and the method we use. Our treatments involve hydrogen peroxide fogging and other EPA listed products on the N-List and K-List. we calculate costs by cubic footage or square footage depending on the system that is best for your particular need. We have a variety of pricing plans to fit your budget.
How long will your services take?
Each method takes a different amount of time but the entire process to treat a room can happen in as little as one hour.
Why do I need your Whole Space Certification?
Our certification process measures the effectiveness of our service and offers quantitative results. By proving our methods are successful while servicing your space, you will not only be able to trust us, but will also gain the trust of your guests, employees, and customers who will know that you are making the best effort to keep them safe.

How do I know it's gone?
First of all, it will feel clean. Additionally, we will provide detailed lab analysis and detailed reports for your records if needed. ATP and Biological indicators will provide proof of efficacy.
I only need service in one area of my facility, can you do that?
Our services are scalable, meaning if you only want one area treated, we can do that. If you decide you need more when we get there, we will be prepared for that scenario as well.
Are the chemicals you're using leaving harmful residues?
No, we only use products that will not form harmful residues. Most companies will want to use a quaternary ammonium to act as a method to continue killing germs. The problem with this is they are sticky and can make future germ reservoirs. They are also easily absorbed through the skin and are known allergens, NIH 2014. We will never use harmful quats as a residue. Instead, we rely on hydrogen peroxide or chlorine dioxide because they leave no harmful residues.
How long will it last?
The lasting results will vary depending on the traffic of your facility. Outbreaks are typically resolved with our treatment, but for proactive results, the best outcomes we see are between monthly and quarterly treatments. With the BIOPROTECT anti microbial protection certain bacteria will be inhibited for up to 90 days from growth.
ABOUT CURIS ULTRA LOW VOLUME MISTING DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM
What is the Curis Ultra Low Volume Misting Decontamination System?
The CURIS Decontamination System is the first portable, hydrogen peroxide-based fogging system capable of disinfecting a room or enclosed area via a pulse technology. While most systems rely on dispensing chemical and turning off once the desired time is achieved, or depend on manual spraying, CURIS goes a step further by focusing on a ‘maintained pathogen-kill zone.’ The Patented Pulse™ process maintains that volume of solution within a space to improve optimal environmental conditions. Designed to reduce human error, our hands-free system with remote operation allows you to monitor, manage, measure, track, and report – to quickly prove, and continuously improve, your decontamination efforts. Redefining No-Touch Disinfection
What is the room size you can do and how long will it take with the CURIS System?
The CURIS® has a range up to 10,000 cubic feet and fog cycles will vary depending on cubic feet being treated. The treatment time may be anywhere from 35 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Car interiors will take a few minutes while larger spaces will take longer.
Where can CURIS System be used?
Curis™ System was specifically designed for portability and for use in a multitude of settings. Although comparatively small in size, its extraordinary power allows users the ability to easily treat sealed spaces in any residential, commercial, government or institutional environmant.
Why is the CURIS Pulse Technology important?
The CURIS patented Pulse Technology allows the fog/mist to achieve maximum efficacy by maintaining an optimal filled space creating a consistent dwell-time.
Can I enter the room before the dry-fog dissipates?
A room in the process of dry-fogging can only be entered if using PPE equipment. The Curis™ System will monitor the stage of treatment and alert the user when it is safe to reenter the space.
CURIS system decontaminate ambulances, police cars, busses, vans, trains and even N-95 masks?
Yes. We have customers using our systems in all of these applications.
What is a biological indicator (BI) and why do you use them with CURIS?
Biological Indicators are the industry standard in the medical, dental, research and other high risk testing environments. The BI will indicate that a treatment has achieved the 6-log level of disinfection or sterilization you expect by killing benign geobacillus stearothermophilus. The EPA validates the CURIS® device with the same BI because geobacillus stearothermophilus is a bacterial spore which is extremely resistant to chemical disinfection and difficult to kill.
ABOUT ELECTROSTATIC SPRAYING
What is Electrostatic Spraying?
Electrostatic spray surface cleaning is the process of spraying an electrostatically charged mist onto surfaces and objects. Electrostatic spray uses a specialized solution that is combined with air and atomized by an electrode inside the sprayer. Subsequently, the spray contains positively charged particles that are able to aggressively adhere to surfaces and objects. Because the particles in the spray are positively charged, they cling to and coat any surface they’re aimed at.
How Does Electrostatic Disinfection Work?
Electrostatic spray is electrically charged, allowing the appropriate sanitizers, mold preventatives and disinfectants to wrap around and evenly coat all types of surfaces for a more complete clean. As the chemical exits the electrostatic sprayer, it’s given a positive electrical charge. The droplets then become attracted to all negative surfaces, covering the visible area, underside and backside, with the sanitizing agent. Surfaces that are already covered will repel the spray, making the method extremely efficient.
ABOUT UV LIGHT TREATMENT
What is UV Light treatment?
Ultraviolet light has a long history of killing microorganisms in the air and on surfaces. It has been proven to reduce the infection rates of MRSA, C. diff, VRE and other harmful pathogens. This technology has recently been made smaller and more powerful. As a result, it is now possible to use it in many more settings with greater efficacy. UV light is low impact, especially for the most environmentally discerning clientele. UV Technology can be deployed to fight off harmful germs, bacteria and viruses in any space. It is proven to be particularly effective when used in combination with other disinfection methods. UV light creates an environment where micro-organisms simply can not survive.
ABOUT PROTECTIVE BIOCoating
What is the BIOPROTECT™ antimicrobial surface protection?
BIOPROTECT™ provides persistent and continuous protection for up to 90 days. It is a preservative antimicrobial coating that can be applied to both porous and non-porous surfaces to inhibit the growth of certain bacteria. The patented EPA listed technology uses self assembling monolayers to create a field of nano spikes that mechanically kill microbes (bacterias, molds, viruses) by piercing and rupturing their cell membrane. This kill method prevents the microbes from mutating and adapting, inhibiting the ability for superbugs to grow.
How Does BIOPROTECT™ Work?
When applied to a surface or incorporated into a material, BIOPROTECT™ forms a covalent bond with the substrate and creates a microbiostatic antimicrobial coating. The coating forms a nano-bed shield of spikes (self assembling monolayer), each of which carry a positive charge that attracts the negatively charged bacteria. Once attracted, the molecular spikes pierce the cell and rupture its cell membrane, causing that bacterial microorganism to die.
How Long Does BIOPROTECT™ Last?
No rinse or wipe is required after application, even for food surface contact, and protection begins in 60 seconds after application and remains effective for up to 90 days.
Can BIOPROTECT™ be used on porous and non-porous surfaces?
Yes. BIOPROTECT™ is a water based product so water sensitive materials need to be handeled with care. It can be applied to almost any surface. A covalent bond forms with the applied substrate to ensure durability in multiple environments including water, solvents and chemicals.
